AUGUST F., SR. "AUGIE"
Age 86, of Scott Twp, on Wednesday, August 31, 2005; beloved husband of the late Anne (Kelly) Turak; loving father of August F. Jr., Jonathan E. (Roselyn), Thomas L., Mark J. (Julianne), Daniel K. (Andrea), Christopher M. (Shawn), Megan (Luis Trevino) Turak and the late James C. Turak; brother of Helen Shevchik, Margaret Stoker and the late John Turak; grandfather of Christian, Breana, Zachary, Mark, Elizabeth, James, Michael and Matthew; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome Sunday, 7-9 and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SVC., 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Funeral Mass in S.S. Simon & Jude Church, Tuesday, 10am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Augie was a WWII Veteran; 25 years with the Pennsylvania Railroad; life-long educator: University of Pittsburgh, CCAC and CCBC, et al; PA Department of Labor, Bureau of Mediation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to S.S. Simon & Jude School, 1625 Greentree Rd., Pgh, PA 15220.

To The Turak Family, My sympathy goes out to you at the loss of your father. My fondest memory of Uncle Augie was when as a very young child I stayed at your home for several days when my parents had to go away and I had so much fun I didn't want to go home. I know that no matter how long our parents live, we are never ready to let them go. My thoughts are with you. Eileen (Kelly) Cobb(Mark & Anne's daugher).
