Deepest sympathies to Aurie´s family and everyone who loved her. I remember when I was a kid and the phone ringing and a minute later mom sending me next door with a cup of flour, or sugar or chocolate chips (the chocolate chips NEVER made it fully intact). An hour later, "secret chocolate chip cookies" were shared. Aurie never shared the "secret brownies", though.
I also fondly remember feeding times with Rufus the Rabbit. Always happy memories with Aurie, especially her laugh, which could always be heard in the summer when the windows were open. I always have and always will remember her fondly.

I am sorry for your loss. I will miss Aurie so much I was grateful for all the help I could do for her and even though we were the last surviving neighbors I enjoyed the times she came outside and we could talk about the good times she had with my parents and all the other neighbors that used to live in this neighborhood .It is going to be weird not knowing she will not be there anymore my love goes out to all of you. Aurie is my idol I hope to live as long as she did. Again my prayers my love go out to all of you
