Pre-deceased by his mother, Judy McBryde Cobb, grandfather, James Perry Cobb, and grandparents, S. R. and Crystal Russell McBryde, Survived by his
Father, David Brackin Cobb (Montgomery), Brother, Samuel David Cobb (Joanie Maddox Cobb) Destin, FL, nephew, Samuel Brackin Cobb III, niece Maddox Elizabeth Cobb, (Destin, FL) grandmother, Joyce Brown Cobb (Montgomery), and uncle, Douglas Perry Cobb (Montgomery). An avid sportsman, Austin was most happy when hunting during deer season, deep sea fishing in the Gulf or simply enjoying casting into a quiet local pond. He was a lover of animals and a big Auburn Tiger fan. He was very close to his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A life-time resident of Montgomery, he was a member of Whitfield UMC.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Payne, Edward Godbold and Frank Parquette.
Pallbearers will be Lee Whatley, Pat Finch, Andy Duncan, Josh Snow, Brady Crowe, Warren Turnipseed and Charles Turnipseed.
Memorials may be made to the Family Sunshine Center, P. O. Box 5160, Montgomery, AL 36103-5160.

Austin and I met when we were 15 and shared some very special moments, memories and 'young love' back then...reunited in our 20's and again grew apart. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that he is gone. I will always remember him. Thoughts and prayers for the Cobb family.

God Bless, I had many childhood memories of Austin, back on Slauson Cir with him and his family. He was the rebel I wanted to be, but never was back then. Playing in the ditches, riding bikes around the neighborhood, rolling people's houses, etc. Him and his father took me deep sea fishing for the first time--I'll always remember their genorosity. I know Austin lived a wonderful life, and experienced wonderful moments. David and Sam God Bless,
