Austin Phillips Obituary
Austin passed away Friday, August 28, 2015, in Canton, TX.
He was born December 18, 2002, in Athens, TX, to Victor Shawn and Kimberly Brown Phillips.
Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Edgewood, TX.
Austin was a student at Edgewood Middle School and previously attended Fruitvale Elementary. He enjoyed history, playing basketball, baseball, and he was a passionate golfer. Austin was a happy, athletic, confident and very competitive young man. He, also, enjoyed working on tractors and cars.
He is survived by his Father, Victor Shawn Phillips; Mother, Kimberly Brown Phillips; Sister, Ashley Phillips; Brother, Hayden Phillips; Grandmother, Sharon Carver; Grandparents, James and Judy Brown; Aunt, Becky Brown; and Uncles, Michael, Thomas and Stevie Brown.
Austin is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Hobby and Jonell Phillips; Great Grandmother, Mary Foster; Great Grandfather, Thomas Denton Foster and Cousin, Michael Allen Brown, Jr.
Pallbearers are Shawn Phillips, Cody Beaty, Kevin Davis, Troy Yancey, John Yancey and Nic Yancey. Honorary pallbearers are Layton Bass, James Brown, Stevie Brown, Jake Brown, Rick Pierson, Michael Brown, Thomas Brown, Chad Thomas and Matt Thomas.
Visitation is Monday, August 31, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
