Austin Matthew Snow

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Austin Matthew Snow, 26, of Nottingham, NH on November 13, 2022.

Austin was born on January 16, 1996 to Rebekah (Dube) Cruz and the late Matthew Snow in Lewiston, ME. He attended school in Dover and Farmington, NH. In 2018, he went on to get his tattoo license and began his career as a well known artist in Maine and New Hampshire.

Austin's love for art started when he was a little boy. He sketched, painted with acrylic on canvas, and hand designed his tattoos. He did many commissioned art pieces over the years.

More recently, Austin started creating beautiful fishing lures and tied flies by hand. They were true works of art and showed another one of his amazing artistic abilities. There wasn't anything Austin couldn't do artistically.

Among Austin's many hobbies, starting as a young boy, was snowboarding. He spent many winter days on the slopes with his friends and his dad. Skateboarding was his next obsession. He would spend countless hours trying to learn a new trick and build ramps in our driveway. And then, there was fishing. Summer or winter you could find him on a lake or river trying to catch his next "big" fish.

Austin's smile would light up any room he walked into. His laugh was contagious and his love for his family was huge, especially for his "baby girl" Amelia. We will miss his bear-like hugs so much! He gave the best hugs!

Austin is survived by his daughter, Amelia Mary Jane Snow; his fiance, Kiahna Blais; his mother, Rebekah (Brandon) Cruz; step-mother, Della Snow; Brothers, Dayton Eaton and Jason Snow. Sisters, Sierra Eaton, Lily Cruz and Autumn Snow; grandparents, especially his loving Nana, Sandra Dube, who he had a very special bond with; many cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends.

We were so very lucky to have been blessed with Austin in our lives for as long as we were. He is loved beyond words and always will be. Until we meet again, my sweet boy.
