My heart is full of so many memories of Ava and her family growing up. Ava, her parents, and her sisters always opened up their arms and their home to all of the extended family with meals, music, and games. Ava could charm the spots off of a leopard! We had permission, one day as teens, to take gas from one vehicle and put it into another so we could drive down the "cruise" to check out the guys. This required siphoning, which Ava knew wasn't fun, so she told me how easy it was and I was convinced. I got a big ole snoot full of gas, and one heck of a belly ache! I became a near-professional after that, which made Ava very proud! Ava will always be our "Sweet Caroline"! Save me a place and hug all the family for me Ava. I love you!

Dear Ava, I will always remember the time we went to Disneyland for your graduation from high school when you came to California. I remember what a wonderful cook you were and the good times we had together when I would come to your home. I remember how we both loved Neil Diamond and Rod Stewart. I enjoyed working with you all those years. I would wave to you across the room when I caught your eye at work. Ava, I will see you some day in the near future. Tell our loved ones there that I send my love. Love you, Aunt Elaine
