Thank you for your kind words and prayers. Grandma was an inspirational influence to many people and will be greatly missed - especially by Mike and me. I find peace knowing she is home and with Grandpa again.

Mrs. Skidmore was such a wonderful sunday school teacher and choir director...I remember I never missed sunday school because of her...we always had a great time and she is the foundation of all of my spirtial beliefs that I hold deep in my heart today...and my mother Pearl Pierce remembers what a great time she had in fellowship with Avalyn at the Mt Zion Young At Heart group..may she rest in peace and our heart goes out to Debbie and the family

Dear Debbie, Mike, Tracy and family; Our deepest sympathy. Mrs. Skidmore, the only name we could ever use, was a JOY in our life.We have many fond memories of church, Bible study, her locking her keys in her house, listening to her brag on her two grandchildren. She was a great influence in our lives and I know she influenced a GREAT number as a Sunday School teacher. We loved her and look forward to the reunion someday. We deeply regret that we will be unable to attend her service. In His Hands, Pastor Gary and Nancy Sheesley
