Avery was my next door neighbor when he lived in Mermaid Run in Pike Creek, Wilmington, Delaware. We both helped each other lots of times. He was a perfect man and I miss him everyday. Rest in Peace Avery. I miss you

It’s been 9 years Avery since we said goodbye. I’ve thought about you and have missed you every day. I have wonderful memories of us sitting around and chatting and laughing, driving each other to have our cars worked on and so many more. I miss you ♥♥

Every day I saw Avery he gave me a smile, a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Every day I thought of Avery he gave me hope. Today, I feel sadness that I won't get my smile, hug and kiss anymore ,but I will always think of Avery and have hope. Love you Avery!

I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Avery. He was a special soul. I saw him about 2 years ago at my cousin Sonnie's church. It was such a delight for the both of us cause we haven't seen each other in years. His eyes lit up as did mine at the sight of seeing one another again. He looked so handsome as he always did whenever I saw him. One of the nicest people I knew. He is definitely gone too soon & I will miss seeing his smile every now & then. Be blessed Bass family. I remember Avery when we lived in Coatesville on Hillcrest and he would come up there and visit my mom and they used to sit around the house and just talk and chill..Then when i lived in Kennett Square I use to see him all the time Avery was like the big brother i never had and he always looked out for me and for that I will always love and miss you so much...Avery you are at REST and in PEACE now

I was so sad to hear of Avery's passing. I went to high school with him and will always remember his platform shoes & his awesome hair! But, more so, I will remember his kind and gentle nature and his love for helping people. He was such a sweetheart and anyone that knew him was better for it. I know he will be greatly missed.
