I first met Babs at the Freeman Library in Clear Lake, Texas, in May of 2012. I was auditioning for an independent film project that she was directing. She cast me in her film, and I had the privilege of having worked with her off and on, for about two years. She was such a sweet person. I always considered her my friend. She was a real inspiration to me as an artist, and acting teacher, and to many others as well. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. May God rest her, and she be happy in Heaven. I remember what a strong Christian woman she was.
My deepest condolences to her family, and friends.

I'm so saddened to hear of Babs' passing and of the depth of your loss.
For years, Bab's and I would sneak bits and pieces of time from our work day to talk about those things we were most passionate about -- our telling of people's stories, our dreams of seeking a life in Europe, and of course, our children.
Babs had a smile that always made me feel welcome, and I was drawn to her sense of calm, surety, humor, and wisdom.
She made a difference in my life. She'll be sorely missed.

I was sorry to hear about Babs passing. I attend church with her sister, Jean, and Babs would come to church when in town. I always loved Babs and we had many great conversations. I will miss her dearly. I am thankful she is in Heaven now and made whole. Keeping her family in prayer always.

Babs was such a beautiful person inside and out. She always had a smile and a kind word. She was the utmost professional and was always so welcoming. She had great style and grace, too. She will be missed.

Sending my condolences and prayers to the family of Babs.
Babs and I always sat in the side-bar eating, talking and laughing, sharing different types of foods that she and I liked, along with other things we talk about. She always had a good spirit, she just was a fun person to be around, always stay to herself, she will be greatly miss by many who new her.

I new Babs when she was attending ALCC. I remembered on Saturday mornings my two girls got lessons from her in acting and how to be gracious young ladies. Her death was a shock and we will surely miss her. My prayers are with the family.

Babs Sheppard - There are simply not enough words to describe the beauty and elegance of this special lady and dear friend of mine. My heart broke hearing this news. I have known Babsy (as I called her) for many years. Babsy is and was the epitome of what every human being should aspire to be here in this earthly life. She was truly a beautiful lady both inside and out with a heart unsurpassed in love and compassion. Her Love of our Lord and Savior was devout in all ways. I know Jesus is smiling with our Babsy now in eternal life with Him and all those she loved who got there first. We used to ride home from work together each night (when we both still resided in League City, TX) and we had so many unforgettable discussions about many subjects, and she was indeed a great Prayer Sister for me. I love this lady. I will always love this lady. My heart and soul will miss you sweet Babsy. Until we meet again ... keep praying in Heaven for the rest of us to do good while still here in the flesh ... and I know I will see you again someday.

I worked with Babs at Vinson & Elkins Law Firm. She was such a kind and considerate person. If you needed info on vitamins, she was the to go to person. During the pandemic she told me to take D3 and it would help me not get COVID, so far so good. I'll miss you Babs Sheppard!
