Barbara Babcock Obituary
Bermuda Dunes - Barbie Babcock, 89, passed away on December 2, 2019 in Bermuda Dunes, California. Barbie was born December 29th 1929 to Ray and Allice Casper of Casper Wyoming. Barbie began her professional career as a Broadway singer, married Ray Babcock June 1971. Barbie and Ray moved to Bermuda Dunes in 1974. Barbie created the business known as Babcock Interiors of Palm Desert which flourished for nearly 40 years. She was always dressed to the "nines" whether while playing golf or cards at Bermuda Dunes County Club or just hanging around home. Barbie was active in the ladies' golf group, serving as captain. She will be very missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing that beautiful smile, kindness, warmth, and always thinking of others before herself. No service will be held out of privacy for the family members.
