I knew Barbara through her many years of service to the Friends of the Carlsbad Library, as a staff worker in the Dove Bookstore and a member of the Friends Board. She was a dear heart, and I will miss her.

Barbara´s warmth, kindness, and welcoming smile were so beautiful. Such a wonderful role model that lives on in Jen and Meredith. Hugs to you all.

Clearly her legacy lives on in you, Meredith, and all who loved her. She sounds like an incredible woman who lived a beautiful life. I´m so sorry to know how hard this loss must be for all of you.

I love Barbara as I would a sister. She was kind, caring and patient. We shared movies, dinners and hours of conversations. Like so many of her friends I will miss her for the rest of my days.
Jenny and Meredith are blessed to have had such a remarkable woman as their mother. They are the legacy of which she was most proud.
Rest in peace my dear friend. The world is a kinder place because you were in it.

I loved dear Barbara. We worked together for many years at the Dove Library bookstore., always finding time to laugh together, and share life stories. RIP dear Barbara.
