and staff are deeply saddened by the death of Barbara Carson, an an extraordinary nurse
and courageous ANMF
(then RANF) State Secretary.
Together with our members we pay
tribute to her leadership
and acknowledge that
her determined actions
transformed our union and our profession. Barbara remained committed to the ANMF throughout her life and continued to support her union and its members.

Inspired and led so many to the benefit of the whole Nursing profession in many roles throughout her career. Barbara Carson will always be remembered with respect and love.
