Barbara Ann Prince Cazer, a lifetime resident of Biscoe died Tuesday, at the age of 68. She was born on June 4, 1953, in Stuttgart, to the family of James and Lucille Prince. She received formal education in the nearby community of De Valls Bluff, and graduated with the class of 1971.
Barbara was raised in the Christian faith and has attended times of worship at the Brasfield United Methodist Church for fifty-three years. She accepted Christ as her own personal Saviour and was baptized at the age of fifteen. She always enjoyed the fellowship with her church family and sharing with them the value of their inheritance in Christ.
On August 31, 1979, she married Larry Cazer in Hazen. Barbara and Larry, chose to remain part of the Biscoe community, to make their home and start a family. They were blessed through the years to share in the joys of raising six children. In time added blessing came with the addition of their spouses, an amazing twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Barbara worked outside the home and before choosing to retire, was last employed at Remington Arms.
Barbara was known by everyone in the local community and surrounding area, for her smile and kind heart. She liked going to the local estate sales, shopping flea markets and cooking. Barbara enjoyed having a garden and spent hours canning the fruits of their labor. However, her favorite times were when she was surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father James Louis Prince.
She is survived by husband, Larry Cazer, son, Joshua Cazer, daughters, Elizabeth (Brint) Jackson, Kimberly (Jesse) Henderson, Karla (Bryan) Elmore, Missy (Doug) Daffron, Karen Hughes, her mother, Lucille Prince, sisters, Brenda (Joey) Smith, Janice (Barry) Minor, grandchildren, Emily, Lauren, Bo, Amanda, Natalie, Melanie, Drew, Mariah, Omar, Reagan, Avery and McKenzie and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation Friday 1:00-2:00P.M. and a Memorial service to follow at 2:00 both at Brasfield United Methodist Church.

The world lost a beautiful soul. The sun will certainly be dimmer because it has lost her light. I will surely miss her infectious smile and sense of humor. She left behind a special legacy of love and laughter.
My prayers are with you all.
Love, Annette

Barbara was loved by so many of us. I am thankful I was able to see her and laugh with her recently. She always had a story. I’m sure she and “Aunt Betty Sue”( my mom) are having a little party In Heaven.
