Another friend moved to a new field of labor. It will be wonderful to visit again in the not too distant future and talk about our Key West days. Allien and I send our love and condolences to the family.

I first met Barbara while she and Rod were serving a Family History mission in Western New York. They were an incredible example to me of faith and dedication to the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I moved to Utah to continue my studies, Barb became a second mother to me. We even lived in the same apartment complex for a while. We talked most every day then. I have many fond memories of that time. She is gone now but will always have a special place in my heart.

The stories that Barbara shared with me about family history and her powerful testimony of temple work are permanently etched in my mind; I have shared them with many others when speaking about family history. Barbara, I am excited for you as you meet all those for whom you have performed saving ordinances --- what a glorious reunion for you!!
