Barbara G. (Garand) DeVito
November 4, 1940 - June 24, 2025
Barbara G. DeVito, 84, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at her daughter's home in Erie, PA. She was born on November 4, 1940, to the late Francis and Marie (Latulippe) Garand.
Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She found joy in crafting and gave freely of her time to Holy Family Catholic Church, where she built lifelong friendships and a second family in faith. Her warmth and generosity touched all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert L. DeVito Sr.; their infant son, Robert DeVito; and her brother, Robert L. Garand.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Anita (Garand) Abert of Liverpool, NY; her beloved children: Robert L. DeVito (Lonna), Donna Rioux (David), Linda DeVito (Lasalle), and Anthony DeVito (Debbie); as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the UPMC Family Hospice team for their compassionate care.

Auntie Barbara,
I've loved you my whole life. I know we haven't seen eachother for many years but I cherished the time I had with you and the conversations and things you taught me in years past. You were a excellent aunt and Godmother to me. I will Never forget you. Till we meet again.
