Dear Molly, Patrick and Chris,
Great picture of your mom. That is how I remember her. A smiling face and an effervescent personality, It had been a number of years, since I had seen your Mom. I worked with her on the Pittsburgh International Children's Festival. I also knew your Dad, Great Guy. I am truly sorry for loss.

It took awhile to review 7 decades of memories; but it was worth journey. Jack and Mike came to SSI for a visit and we went to see Barbara at the assisted care facility in Brunswick. The care giver put her in her wheel chair and invited us all to go to the lunch room. We chose instead to kidkanp her. We quickly reverted to teenagers and id what Scanlon do best. Broke all the rules and had a blast doing so. I can't repeat everything we did but you can guess! This is the memory i'm choosing to savor. Maybe some day over old fashions the whole tale can be told. rest in peace cuz.

Dear Molly, Patrick and Chris,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies at your mother's passing.
She and I became friends a few years ago, as a result of Aunt Betty Tarantino's insistence.
She was a GREAT lady with a terrific sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. I will always remember how welcome she made me feel in your home.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, as you grieve her loss, but celebrate her life.
Eternal Rest Grant Unto Barbara O Lord and Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Her.
With Deepest Condolences,
Rick
