Quietly on Friday, March 13, 2015. Beloved mother of Toni G. Ervin of Haymarket, VA and Todd O. Ervin of Pittsburgh, PA; also two grandchildren; and a host of brothers and sisters. Family will receive guests Wednesday, March 18, 2015, 9:30 - 11 a.m., followed by Services at 11 a.m. at Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, 2110 Andrews Dr., Wilkinsburg. Burial Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 412-241-7998.

Barbara, my dear friend. Everyone should know you spent weekends-- Saturday AND Sunday-- supervising community service workers clearing sidewalks in Wilkinsburg so your neighbors could use the sidewalks to walk to the bus stops. I learned a lot from you and enjoyed every minute we spent together.
