Barbara Fairfield

Fairfield, Barbara age 67, passed away March 19, 2009. Preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fairfield; her stepson, Carter Fairfield; and her father, Donald Wiik. She is survived by her mother, Dolly Wiik of Tucson, AZ; her stepdaughter, Lindsay Fairfield Herbert (Michael); and grandsons Parker and John. Her late husband Tom and she started and operated the Fairfield Company for many years. She was a longtime resident of Deephaven, and artist in many mediums, and a member of the Minneapolis Woman's Club. She is remembered by family and friends for her generosity, her intellectual honesty, her fearless spirituality and her love of all things beautiful. A private memorial gathering was held in March. Memorials may be sent in her name to American Cancer Society.
