FENTON, Barbara N. Age 80 of Grand Blanc, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at Clare Bridge of Grand Blanc. Funeral Service will be celebrated Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at Hill Funeral Home, Grand Blanc. Fr. Kusitino Cobona officiating. Cremation to follow with burial of ashes at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. at funeral home. Mrs. Fenton was born January 8, 1930 in Detroit to Walton and Theresa Boling. Barbara married Robert Fenton in Detroit on July 22, 1950. Mrs. Fenton retired from the 67th District Court of Genesee County where she worked as senior deputy clerk. Beloved mother of Robert (Sherry) Fenton and Nanette (Rick) Benedict. Loving grandmother of Bethany Fenton, Danielle (Andrew) Benson, Lauren Benedict, Katarina and R.J. Fenton. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by, her parents, husband, sister, Martha Watch and brother, Edward Boling. Memorial donations to Holy Family Catholic School. Memories may be shared at www.hillfh.com

Nan- So sorry to see that your mother passed away. I don't know if you remember me, but I remember playing at your home in Cadillac when I was young. Your mother was always kind and I can remember her as a soft spoken woman. Loretta (Sissy Brazee) Kitchen
