Barbara Ellen Gengler passed away peacefully on July 9th. She was born in Ozone Park Queens, to Philip & Dorothy Gengler. She studied journalism at NYU. She loved to write for newspapers and short stories.

Barbara was preceded in death by her sister Catherine. She is survived by her three daughters, Anne, Tracey, & Kerrie; grandchildren Jacob, Cameron, Thomas, Emily, Faith, John & Patrick; great grand daughter Inina; her siblings Patricia, Joan, Philip & Paul. Barbara is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other relatives & friends.

A memorial is planned to celebrate Barbara's life on August 5th in NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's name may be made to any charity of your choice, Barbara always made an effort to donate to multiple charities.
