I never met any of the Grooms family, but I fondly remember the Colony Lighting commercials on TV when I was growing up in the Charleston area, including the closing line from Mandy and Jason: "The brightest spot in town." I didn't know Mr. Grooms was already gone; so sorry that Mandy and Jason and the rest of the family have lost Mrs. Grooms, too.

There are many wonderful memories of our younger days. I remember she got sanctified as a young girl. She heard the plan of salvation coming to sunday school at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church in Norfolk, Va. We pray God give the family comfort. Rev. Thomas and Martha Mustin

Without a doubt she is rejoicing with the saints in heaven today, but very much missed by our church and me personally. She was such a blessing to everyone of us. With lots of love for her and her family. Praying for all of you. Peggy Henson Johnson
