Barbara GUSE Obituary
The family of Barb Guse is deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing on April 19, 2016. She will be forever missed by her husband Mike; her mother Betty; two brothers Keith (Colleen) and Doug; sister Bonnie (Brian); niece Allison and nephew Mitchell. She was predeceased by her dad George Burnett.
Barb retired in 2012 from the Edmonton Police Service after 30 years, where she made numerous lifelong friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton with interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, 11220 83 Ave., Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7, would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Mike & Betty,
I had the privilege of knowing Barb at EPS. I will never forget the endless support that she offered me during a very stressful time in my career. Fortunately, we also shared many laughs over the years.

The last time I saw Barb (or Barberino as I affectionately called her) was the happy occasion of her retirement from the EPS. Over the years Barb was always a great help, and good for a laugh too. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mike, Betty & family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Barb's death and wanted to express my sincere sympathies to you and the family. Barb and I worked together within the same Branch for years sharing many laughs. A few things we had in common were the love of our family and secondly our weakness for crafts. We spent several lunch hours increasing what she so fondly referred to as her cross-stitch inventory; acknowledging the fact she owned enough to open up her own store. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
