Barbara Hinton Obituary
PEORIA – Barbara J. Hinton, 64, of Peoria, passed away at 7:07 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She entered into the world on April 28, 1952, to Lewis "Jack" and Martha (Moore) Harris in Peoria. Barbara was joined in matrimony to Phil Hinton on November 9, 2004; he survives.
She is also survived by 4 sons, Joe Davis, Keith Harris, Phillip Hinton, and Tommy Hinton; 1 daughter, Alicia Harris; 1 brother, John Fitzgerald; and 2 sisters, Virginia Alexander and Agnes (Woodrow) Crooks; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, and 1 brother.
Barbara graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Robert Morris University.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, April 22, 2017, at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.

Barb was the first smiling face I seen when I started working at Afni. She trained me and continued to share her knowledge with me every day! Heaven has gained another ANGEL, RIP Barb!!!

I'm in disbelief, Barbara was the sweetest lady in the world . She married Phil who is like a Uncle to me. I will miss her so much I can't believe she is gone. Every time I see her she hugs me and would give me that beautiful smile. God has truly received a angel I don't wanna say RIP, I would like to say i will see u again pretty lady.
