Ms. Barbara Hooper, as I lovingly called, is in the presence of the Lord whom she loved more than anyone & anything in the world. She was not a preacher or a wife of a preacher but her love & legacy reminded me of Tabitha (also known as Dorcas in the Book of Acts). Just like Tabitha, Ms. Barbara touched many souls with her love, compassion & giving spirit. I will miss serving communion on a regular basis, but I will never forget what she told me. Break the bread before serving however small the waffer may be, because Jesus broke His body for us.'
