As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

It was in 1977, in OKC. We were good friends, very good friends, and many times we danced at DJ's till the wee hours. She was a force of nature, of life--and I just learned of her passing. It makes me very sad. I saw her last at the airport--she'd come down to visit her mom when she was sick. I always thought I would see her again. It is a sad, sad day.

Enjoying her performance at the Ohio Lesbian Festival in Kirkersville, Ohio in the early 2000's through 2016. She made you feel the love and unity that she represented and fostered.

Dear Wahru! Oh how I miss you. You were an amazing human being! You never met a stranger. You made everyone feel like a close friend. You lit up every room you walked into. I will miss drumming with you. I can still hear your voice. I will always remember your smile, your laugh, and your wicked sense of humor. Thank you for everything.
