Barbara Jean Keefe

Barbara Jean Keefe, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Monday, January 5, 2026, at her home.

Born Monday, November 4, 1946, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Samuel M. Clopper Jr. and the late Bertha Mae (Iser) Clopper.

She graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1964 and dedicated many years of her career working for Dr. Su until his retirement, as well as for Dr. William T. Su. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and took great joy in watching her daughter cook. An avid traveler, she especially loved visiting the Outer Banks and Florida. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, spontaneous adventures, and gathering with family and friends for game days, creating memories filled with laughter and love.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Duane) Presgraves, Christine (Shawn Kelso) Fender, and Karen Keefe; grandchildren, Josh, Katie, Sara, Samantha, Elizabeth, Lindsay, Tristen, and Hagen; great-grandchildren, Ayron, Isabella, Kai, and Miles; sisters, Sandy (Dennis) Nave, and Shirley (Dale) Mease; and several nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Keefe and her fur baby, Sasha.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara's to a charity of one's choice.
