Luella Lambert Obituary
Luella Vonciele Lambert (Von) went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was born March 24, 1928 in Ballenger, Texas to Ed and Gertrude Kelsay. The family lived in Littlefield, Texas for many years. Von married Argene Lambert on February 6, 1946 and moved to Oxnard, California. She was very active in the First Baptist Church in Oxnard and was a very talented quilter, and seamstress, creating many bridesmaids dresses and wedding gowns. She lived in Oxnard until 2016 then moved to Spokane, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenneth Kelsay, husband Argene Lambert, and her grandson Brandon Lambert. She is survived by her sister Barbara Blair in Levelland, Texas, her children, Gary and Penne Lambert, Darrell and Judy Lambert, and Cynthia and Myron Kooiman and her grandchildren, Marnee, Julie, Brad, Christy, Nathan, and Jannell and 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service for the family and close friends will be held in Camarillo, California at The Conejo Mountain Cemetery in late September 2020.
