Barbara Leonard Obituary
Barbara was born February 19, 1949 in Barberton, Ohio to Theodore and Geraldine (Hackenberg) Scribner.
She married Dennis E. Leonard on July 5, 1969. He died December 25, 2014. Barbara enjoyed cooking for her family, and spending weekends outdoors with Dennis riding their Honda Gold Wing. Barb was an avid horse lover and enjoyed showing horses with her friends.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her beloved daughter Denise Leonard of Chesterland; grandchildren Andrew and Elizabeth; and sister-in-law Clara Miller of Medina. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at the Avenue of Medina for their compassion and care of Barbara over the past nine years.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Medina, 3646 Medina Road, Medina Ohio 44256.
