I met Barbara many years ago when I was a hairstylist and it was at that time we became best friends and loved each other as sisters. She was always there to help and she loved my "girls" Tinkerbell and Blu. We shared many personal times in our lives. I will miss her so much, my sister Barb! Much love to her family.

I had the fun and joyful pleasure of knowing Barbara and her husband Dom through my close friendship with their daughter Virginia, and always loved seeing her! I loved her warm, caring and also no nonesense approach to life. Her energy and her acts of kindness will always be dear to my heart. I send my deepest heartfelt wishes to her family at this tender time, and love to think of Barbara and Dom together again basking in the warm sun. ~ Heather

Barbara a.k.a. "Nan" is a soul of warmth and beauty. Our paths crossed when I was introduced to her Grandson, Joe. She was a nurturing spirit to me as a young woman... who's influence I still feel today.

She had an inner light that could warm a cold room, and a smile and laugh that were infectious! Even after many years, she had the gift of making someone feel welcome and familiar. She enjoyed helping others. The character she exuded was an admirable, unforgettable one.

My prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with those hurting in this time of transition. Especially the ones who feel emptiness the most. May the beautiful soul and wonderful moments shared with Nan... fill that emptiness and bring you warmth and Peace in this most challenging time.

Much love to the family of my friend. I will always remember our friendship which began when we were both mourning the loss of our husbands. She was a special lady. Rest in peace, dear Barbara.
