Barbara Lucille Mahaffey

Barbara Lucille Mahaffey January 21, 1926 - April 20, 2016 San Diego Barbara was born on January 21, 1926 in Rockford, Illinois to Ruth and Lucien Spiess. She passed away peacefully on April 20, 2016. She is survived by her children Michael, Gary, and Carol, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was employed for 26 years at Mesa College in food services. She had a passion for bowling and was the winner of many tournaments. Barbara was the co-holder of the San Diego City tournament record for scratch doubles that stood for more than 30 years. She was also a devoted follower of her beloved San Diego Padres. A celebration of life will be held at the residence of Michael and Anita Mahaffey. Please contact the family for details.
