Barbara McConaghy Obituary
Barbara Elaine McConaghy, "Lain'ee"", passed away on January 6th, 2025 in Gaithersburg, MD. Born in Wildwood Crest, NJ to parents, Doris and Edward McConaghy, and raised with her sister, Doris McCleary, the family lived for many years in Chambersburg, PA.. Barbara worked as a legal secretary in Washington DC, ending a long and proud career at Hogan and Hartson law firm. Upon retirement, she fulfilled her dream to move to Las Vegas where she enjoyed hosting friends and family. Barbara touched many lives through her gifts to charities over the years. She was loved and will be remembered by her friends, nieces and nephews. Per her request, family will honor her privately. Donations in her memory can be made to Shriners Hospital or Wounded Warriors.

Lain"ee loved a good joke and was very funny! We used to tell her she should do standup. She enjoyed time with family and friends. Loved to hear about her many nieces and nephews. We miss her!
