I was heartbroken to hear of your loss. Barbara(and Sanford) are two of the most pleasant persons I have ever encountered. She, and your entire family have done so much good for the Atlanta community and she will be missed. You do not personally know me, I have worked at California Pizza in Dunwoody for years. It was always a joy to see Barbara come in. I would see the name Orkin on the call ahead list and would be so happy to know that such a nice family would be visiting. It was moving to see how Barbara would great each family member when they arrived and when she would stand out front as family was leaving and a line of members would leave and give her a hug on the way out.

Barbara always will remain in my memory as a charming, gracious hostess for meetings of the Atlanta Symphony Women's Association. All the family has my deepest sympathy.

Please accept our sincere condolences. We will miss Barbara...her smile and her kind, gentle ways. If she ever had a bad day, one would never know. What an exceptional lady she was and what a loss for all!
