BARBARA ANN OTTINGER

BARBARA ANN (KULB) OTTINGER, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne, Ind. She married Kenneth L.Ottinger on Oct. 7, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nev. Barbara spent her working career in accounting and customer service for Francis Slocum Bank and Waterfield Mortgage. Barbara and Ken attended Covenant United Methodist Church where Barbara was a member of the quilters guild having completed over 130 quilt tops for Basher Home Project. Barbara loved doing intricate counted cross stitch pictures and giving away several of her over 30 projects. Barbara and Ken loved traveling and have been to almost every state, including Hawaii and Alaska and outside the United States to Mexico and Canada. Survivors include her husband, Ken; four children, Linda (Glen) Beckmeyer, Roger Miller, Ron Miller, Mike (Jan) Miller, two stepchildren, Kevin (Nan) Ottinger, Kimberly (Scott) Pendergrast; one sister, one twin brother; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. As per Barbara's request, private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers please make any contribution to Heart to Heart Hospice.
