BARBARA BRETT SANDERS

SANDERS, Barbara Brett Of Brooksby Village, Peabody died on February 11th at age 92 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Agnes Baldwin Brett and George Monroe Brett, and was born in New York City on March 5, 1920. Barbara graduated from Wellesley College in 1942. She was a long time resident of Marblehead, and was the widow of Thomas Sanders Jr, her husband of 40 years who pre-deceased her in 1994. She leaves behind a beloved family, her daughters Jane Sanders of Lee, NH and Martha Sanders of Topsfield, her son-in-law Mark Liptak and grandsons Cary Liptak and Alexander Liptak of Topsfield. A memorial service will take place at Old North Church in Marblehead on Saturday, Feb. 23rd, at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to The Marcia Wiswall Lindberg Genealogy Room at the Lynnfield Public Library.
