BARBARA TAKACS Obituary
Of Whitaker, on November 13, 2017, age 80, died peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer. Ever faithful and beloved wife of the late Vincent Takacs; daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Kolesar) Smolak; dedicated mother of Arlene (Charles) Scott, Donna (Jack) Laird, Paul (Deborah)Takacs, David (fiancée, Carla Blose Crawford) Takacs and Richard (Billie Jo) Takacs; sister of Mary Ann Kosport, Paula Smolak, Robert (Patty) Smolak, Kenneth Smolak, Ronald (Ann) Smolak and the late Sharon Smolak; grandmother of C. Bradley, Megan and Ryan Scott, John and Jacob Laird, Samantha (Chris) Brown and Keith (Tricia) Takacs and Brittany (Cpt. Shaun) Slawson, Alexandra and Vincent Takacs; great- grandmother of Avery Slawson. Friends received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK- GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main St., Munhall, PA 15120 on Friday 1-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Rita Church, Munhall. Memorial donations to be made to her Alma Mater, Mt. St. Macrina, 500 W. Main St., Uniontown, PA 15401.
