Barbara Tomeo, 82, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025.
Born October 24,1942, Barbara grew up in Southern California and spent her final years in the place she called her dream home-Idaho. She lived a full and curious life, shaped by simple joys and meaningful connections.
Barbara had a deep appreciation for beautiful things. She loved decorating her home, tending to her garden, and expressing her creativity through quilting. She had a strong eye for detail and a quiet talent for making spaces feel warm and welcoming.
Traveling was her greatest passion. Whether it was a road trip or a journey abroad, she delighted in seeing new places and soaking in the world's history and charm. She spent considerable time researching her family's ancestry, exploring historical records related to her background.
Barbara was a devoted fan of English royalty, with a particular fondness for Princess Diana and the series Downtown Abbey, both of which reflected her appreciation for tradition, elegance, and a good story.
She is survived by her three sons and eight grandchildren, all of whom brought her great pride and joy. Her presence will be missed deeply and remembered often in quiet moments, blooming flowers, and well-loved quilts.
A celebration of life for Barbara will be celebrated at a future date.
She was thoughtful, quietly funny, and had a true love for the things that made her happy. Barbara lived a life of sincere interests and steady love-and leaves behind memories that will be cherished by those who knew her.

I was fortunate enough to work with Barbara at Sunkist Grower´s in Ontario in the early to late 80´s. Barbara managed the can company that produced cans for the products we made in Ontario. Every year, when I put up my Christmas tree, I fondly remember the Christmas cowboy ornament she gave me. May she be at peace.
