Rick and Nancy,
Sorry about your mom. I can't remember a time when I didn't know her, or you two. She sent me a card when I was sick a couple of years ago. So nice of her.
Best wishes,
Cousin Walt Noyes, Naples, Florida

Dear Nancy, Rick, and family, I was so sorry to read of your loss. Barbara was always very sweet to me whenever I was lucky to be with her, and she called me quite a few times to ask about town band concerts, the health of a family member, or something else going on in our lives. I was always happy when she came to the Lyme Street concert near our churches; was it the music or ice cream that attracted her...? I was happy to first meet "Bub" when I interviewed several seniors who remembered the Great Hurricane for a book for the Historical Society; he, too, was special, and what a blessing they were for each other! She spoke several times of the need for her class to have another reunion, and her classmate, my Uncle Leon Machnik , would say the same thing!Heck, there were only a handful of them! I encouraged BOTH to just get grinders and sodas and meet at the DEEP, or even around Leon's kitchen table, but it never happened; I'm sure MANY Heavenly reunions have taken place already, but I'm sorry we on earth had to lose her for this to happen. I was with Pam and Helen yesterday; they got to meet MY first grandchild, born on 4/17, another generation taking over. I will see you tomorrow. The obituary you created is a lovely tribute that taught me a lot--she SKIED?? And out west, no less, not just at Powder Ridge? Amazing! I will miss her. With our sympathy, Michele Smith Dickey

I have known this special lady, Tizziefor at least 70 years. My sister
and Tizzie were best friends. Growing up my twin brother and I spent
many good times at her house with her mother that we only knew, her
as aunt Dottie. We enjoyed many summer picnics with them. My friend,
My sister will miss you more than people will realize. I will miss not
seeing you at the senior center. Rest In Peace, Tizzie. Love you. Sis and Judy
