Barbara J. Tyson

Barbara J. Tyson October 11, 1930 - March 23, 2007 Barbara J. Tyson of Grand Junction passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at her home at the age of 76. Barbara was born October 11, 1930 in Pueblo, CO to John W. and Della Circle Moore. She grew up in Pueblo and graduated from Centennial High School. On July 14, 1956, she married Robert W. Tyson. He preceded Barbara in death on March 16, 1999 in Grand Junction. A 39-year resident of Grand Junction, Barbara served as a Service Club Manager and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons and their wives, Wes and Sue Tyson of Golden, CO; Brand and Diane Tyson of Sun City, CA; a daughter and her husband, Robin and Ron Mercer of Grand Junction; brother, Orvid Moore of Pueblo; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church.
