BARBARA WAGONER Obituary
She was born and raised in Chicago, Ill. She graduated from Colorado College in 1947.
She was married to James Russell Wagoner, they had four children: Kristie Fugere (deceased), Jill McKinney, Van Wagoner and Kimberlee Koetje. She leaves behind her sisters Nancy Lilly and Judy Rogers; nephew Greg Rogers and niece Wendy Buitenhuis; grandchildren Doug Britton, Lacey Fugere, Dixie Anjo and Morgan Koetje; as well as her great-grandchildren Xavier and Aidan Cram.
Sharing her home life between Arizona and Michigan, she belonged to the American Association of University Women and was actively involved in the Arizona Cowbelles. Her love for theater drew her interest to be one of the first directors of the annual JINX production at Sylvan Beach. She was a member of the White Lake Golf Club. She enjoyed sailing her Y-flyer back in the day. Her artistic talent showed in the many creative pieces of hand work that adorned her homes.
Barbara was lovingly cared for by her son, Van, for which we are most grateful. She will be honored in loving memory by her family and friends.
Memorial donations can be made in Barbara Wagoner's name to Odyssey Hospice, 5210 E. Williams Cir., Suite 300, Tucson, AZ 85711.
