Barbara R. Wohlgemuth

I am very thankful for being able to student teach with Barbara at Leisure Park Elementary school in Broken Arrow, OK in 1987-88. She helped me establish a foundation for teaching, which I did for 11 years. I am thankful for this strong Christian woman!

Barbara was a very special woman in my life. My husband, Jess, and I got to know her and Paul while we were college students at ORU. They would pick me up when I needed a ride to Parkside MB Church. After Paul died, Barbara often had us poor college students over for leftovers :) She was a tremendous support to me during those years and it was a rich experience for me to walk alongside her as she grieved Paul's death. She was so open and honest about her feelings. I learned so much from her. I am now a pastor with my husband and value the mentor she was to me during that time. May God's comfort surround you as you grieve her death.
