I just found out through a mutual friend that Dear Barry passed recently. I just want to send my deepest condolences to his family. I was an employee of his for over a decade and I can honestly say that he was the very best person I have ever worked for. Treated me well with respect and honor, and I believe I did the best job I could I could because of it. I know he will be missed yet always fondly remembered.

I worked for Barry at Cafe enterprises for 12 years. Couldn't have asked for a better boss. He always greeted employees with a big help and smile. I learned a lot from Barry. Not just management but life lessons. Rest in piece

I waited on Barry and his lovely family at Charlie's Saloon on Newbury Street in the early 1980's. Then after work I would stop in at Father's Too on Beacon Street near Kenmore Square. He was always very cheerful and a Gentleman. Years later in the mid-1990s I did business with Barry and his partners. I will miss Barry. Warm Condolences to his family.
