Rest in peace Baz
Cant believe you have gone. Enjoyed the swimming ay princes court. Thanks for the good times, and your company over the years.

Baz
He was a legend.
Holding court behind the counter of Barry On Briggate, delighting and infuriating customers in equal measure, parading an eclectic collection of knitwear; getting lost travelling 3 miles across Leeds; loving his soup and his cheese; building up and looking after his properties; spending time in Spain; having a laugh.
We will miss him.

A true legend
You were certainly a larger than life character who didn't always conform but you will be very sadly missed and Leeds will not be the same with out you. I feel lucky to have known you for nearly 40 years and you can rest assured you will always have a special place in my heart.
Very very sad to leave us at such a young age XX

Farewell Friend
RIP Barry , it was a pleasure to share many happy and humorous moments with you and members of your chosen family Roberta and Alistair.
Your visits to their home in Harrogate with Brian were always entertaining and you will be sadly missed .
Sleep well my friend.

Clothes from the Dry Cleaners
Terry Foster and I used to drink in the Brown Cow Whitkirk with Barry and Brian Rhodes.
Barry used to love trying to shock Terry's Mum by telling her he bought his clothes second hand from the dry cleaners in the Merrion Centre opposite the Buckles paper shop he ran.
I was always greeted with 'what are you driving these days' as though I frequently changed my car which was not the case!
We all saw the kind and gentle side of Barry unlike the poor people that stumped up ridiculous amounts for basics at his shop adjacent to Lewis's on New Briggate.
Sorry to lose you at such a young age Barry. We'll miss your oft misunderstood humour :-)
