EVANS _ Barry Edward Barry Edward Evans of Bassano, husband of the late Grace Evans, passed away in Bassano on November 11, 2004 at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his loving children, daughter Lorraine McQuilkan and her husband Duncan of Bassano; son Randy Evans of Bassano; son Hal Evans of Bassano; son Gary Evans and his wife Sheila of Bassano; daughter Wendy Lee and her husband Gary of Bassano; and daughter Jody Evans of Calgary; three grandchildren, Keith, Carla and Krista Evans; sister Marion (Ed) Rutschke of Bassano; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Casey) Bergen of Lethbridge, Gladys (Jerry) Hunt of Red Deer and Liz Wright of Bassano; brothers-in-law, Gerry (Gloria) Wright of Medicine Hat and Don (Marg) Wright of Okotoks and numerous nieces and nephews. Barry was born in Bassano on March 26, 1930. He and Marrion Grace Wright were married in Calgary on October 4, 1950 and resided and farmed in the Bassano district. Barry was predeceased by his beloved wife Grace of fifty-two years on November 28, 2002; an infant granddaughter Kaitlin Lee; and brother Floyd. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18 from Knox Presbyterian Church, Bassano, Rev. Hector Rose officiating.
