We rode enduros across Tx while stationed at Ft. Hood, always checking out possible trails under bridges, riding on railroad tracks, and over to Austin frequently... A Buffalo Soldier, Mentor and great Friend. I am honestly crushed by your absence. I will always remember you, Brother. I will see you at the canteen halfway down the road...

I served with Barry in Korea when we were both young Warrants. He was always energetic and hungry to learn and share his knowledge. He always was trying to be there for the team and he will be missed.

I worked with Barry a few years back for about six months. Barry was a great guy and I learned a ton from him. I'm shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. We'll all miss you Barry.

I had the pleasure to work with Barry as he was spending time in his fellowship program at US-CERT. He was a ball of energy and optimistic, always up for a chance to help someone with a concept or technology. He helped me personally with some of my coursework and I won't forget that. His loss will be a huge one to his wife and family of course, but also to the Army for all the soldiers that cannot benefit from his enthusiasm and experience for cybersecurity. You will be missed, Rest Easy Soldier.

Words though compassionate cannot still your sorrow, but those who care and share your loss wish you solace and peace of mind.
The spirits are always near to those who are grieving to whisper to them that their loved one is safe.

Barry was an Outstanding Warrant Officer and a great friend. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. God Speed Brother!

Our sincere condolences go out to the family of Chief Fountain after his untimely passing. We had just begun a working relationship in November and planned on meeting up with him down here in Texas in December. We were all in shock when we heard the news. You went from a troubled youth to a Warrant Officer, one of the most respected ranks Enlisted Men have ever known. You worked for them, with them and then over them, a ladder few are steadfast and able enough to climb.

We love and miss you buddy, but we are also honored to have known you and to have watched you grow to the man you have become.
