During another session, I described my ideal drum kit. Frosty told me to meet him sat at 11 am at a storage unit. I showed up and the first thing he said was " sorry it's the wrong color". and proceeded to pull out the exact kit I had described. "I'll get them back from you later". For the next 6 months I pissed off my neighbors day and night (I suck on drums). What a kind and thoughtful person

Rest In Peace Drummer!
You played for some of my favorite groups of all times and I know it was a honor to have played with the group. Now I know you are drumming on in HEAVEN!
RIP!

Years ago Frosty walked into a session with some crazy looking shoes. I asked about them and he said they were made of Kevlar, said they protected him when he shot himself in the foot. Later he commented on my big feet, what size ?
A week later a pair showed up at my door. What a sweetheart, he knew i too needed that same protection

Back in the 80s we enjoyed Frosty as the drummer for Naughty Sweeties. My husband and I met at the clubs and are still together. May Frosty rest well.

I will miss him everyday. He was very special person, kind, thoughtful and a sense of humor only "Frosty" would have! RIP sweet man, see you on the otherside!

Hard to put into words. Frosty was a beautiful cat, using the best musician and human-being lingo I can think of. He was always my first choice for his drumming, and his undeniable charm made it easy to even ask him to play. Barry E. Smith will not be forgotten.

I was turned on to Bartholomew Smith Frost in 1970 at age 12 via Lee Micheals Barrel then i met him in 1971 when Sweathog came to town. He signed a drum head for me.... i got to meet him again thru Ms Vicky 40 plus years later being a deciple of his he took interest in my career. He said ''high dollar gigs come and go you gotta enjoy that bowl of mac and cheese'' , i could go on and on but he was my first drum hero, i will miss him forever ''Do you know what I mean''?

I met Frosty in the 80's at Antone's and his sense of humor was unique and special. My heart has a hole in it. Miss you!

I lost my best friend but know he has a secret that he will let me in on when my day comes to meet him again. Frosty's talent and unique personality will leave a hole in Austin's music scene and a much bigger hole in my life!
