Barry Whitehead Obituary
Mr. Whitehead was born May 27, 1959 in Poplar Bluff to Dellos and Alma Jean (Walls) Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead had retired as a laborer and grounds-keeper at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed riding his bike, fishing and spending time with his friends.
Survivors include a son: Lucas Whitehead of Poplar Bluff; three sisters: Linda Whitehead Durrow of Lodi, Rachel Helton of Poplar Bluff and his twin sister, Betty Whitehead also of Poplar Bluff; two brothers: Gary Whitehead of Poplar Bluff and Larry whitehead of Greenville; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Barry was an amazing brother, loving father and a true friend. People that knew him knew how unique he really was. We will forever miss him.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Melburn Deaton officiating. Lunch for family and friends will follow at Oak Hill Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cotrell Funeral Service, P.O. Box 548, Poplar Bluff, MO 63902.
