Last Sunday, I watched the second half of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. I thought of Beaty as I watched it. It wasn't as good as the older version. I found myself thinking of calling Bea and and talking about. I do this often. The last time she visited me in California, we watched Pride and Predudice with Colin Firth. We fell in live with Mr. Darcy. I will watch this video again and think about her and hope she is looking down at me. I miss you Beaty. Love, Irene

Although I didnt know Beattie personally, my parents Sam & Lucy Folcarelli spoke highly of her always, and I haved loved her sisters and brother all my life. I hope she is at peace, reunited with her parents and family. I'm sure they are telling stories , drinking coffee and laughing.

I always enjoyed the times I had the opportunity to speak to Aunt Beattie.. She always had an interesting perspective. I never was afraid to stray from the typical "how's everything" talk with her. Several times when we talked, I would try to throw her a curveball. She always accepted, and we would wax philosophically about life for a few. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with her and Minnie down in Fla when I was a teenager. An aunt who liked the movie A Clockwork Orange!? How cool was that? A fond memory from my youth is the packages of books we would receive from her occasionally. I recently replaced them in fact, and they are as beautiful now as they were back then.
Aunt Beattie, you will be missed. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and wisdom.

To All Family Members & Friends,
We wish to express our condolences to all who were touched by my Aunt Bea's heart. The summation is but a brief glimpse into her passions and love of life. I sincerely appreciate her thoughtful cards and phone conversations not just with me, but with other family members particularly my daughter Erica who will fondly remember her. I consider it an honor to have known her and to have had the opportunity to share in a portion of her life's journey.
Sincerely,
Glen, Elizabeth, Erica & Ashley Groves (Napa, CA)

Dear Family,
Bea was such a great neighbor. Never one to pass judgement, always willing to share her tasty treats, plants and kindness.
We'll miss her outside in the summer working in her garden, talking to her about her green thumb and envious of how her flowers responded to her care.
