Beatrice Daniel Obituary
Of Jackson, formerly of Riverview, Michigan, passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at Spring Arbor Assisted Living on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the age of 98. She is survived by her five children, Lynn Shoenut Yaney, Timothy (Nancy) Daniel, Anthony Daniel, Diane (David) Rodriguez, and Marianne (Mark) Helms; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert; two sons, Patrick James Shoenut and Christopher Daniel; and daughter-in-law, Karen Daniel. Beatrice worked for 30 years at Girrbach-Krasun Funeral Home in River Rouge and Southgate. She was an avid painter, reader, and crocheter. Beatrice enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment will be held at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock. The family will receive friends at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 21 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

I loved Aunt Bea! So saddened by her loss. I recall sending her pop-up Christmas cards and she would send me hand-made Christmas card telling she hoped I wouldn't mind if she passed the card on to the grandkids. I was just filled with so much peace that the card would be doing double duty at Christmas. It was honor to receive her cards and know she was sharing mine. Your Mom was a terrific person!
