Bea was such a joy to all of us who played bridge at April Sound. I so enjoyed being her partner...she was so patient and understanding and it was a pleasure to get to know her. I will never forget when Bea was my partner when I went down 6 tricks, which is incredibly bad! She could have gotten upset but instead just shrugged her shoulder and said that this was all in fun. In addition, we all enjoyed the delicious cupcakes that her son treated us to. Bea will be missed but not forgotten!

I met Aunt Bea when she come to Indiana with my Uncle T, I fell in love with her immediately. She was always so open to all us and brought us into her family. I love you Aunt Bea and I no that Uncle T was waiting at the gates when you got there. (You got it)
This was the last time I saw Bea in around 1992 in Crested Butte, CO.

I met Bea playing Bridge in April Sound. She had determination and spunk! She loved playing bridge and was an excellent player. Losing wasn't in her vocabulary. Sad to hear that she will no longer be with us. Prayers for the family. She will be missed.

Bea was such a sweet lady. She just adored my Uncle T and he adored her. My sister and I came to visit just months before my Uncle T passed away. Bea welcomed us with open arms. I can't tell you, how much we loved her. Her smile and laughter was contagious. I told her once, I always wanted an Aunt Bea. She said, aw honey, you got one now! We will miss her❤

I feel so fortunate in my life to have spent many years knowing Bea. As my mother-in-law and as a dear friend, she was always loving and kind to me and her heart was always open. We lost touch with each other for a period but I know we were always in each other's hearts and minds. My sympathy is with the large family that Bea had and most especially to Michael, Steven and James, for I know how hard it will be for you to lose your momma.

She was a dynamic and gracious woman. The love she felt was deep and true. Bea readily embraced us with with open arms and an open heart. I truly regret not having spent more time with this remarkable woman. Her legacy will live on in us all.
