Sunday's service was beautiful and a glorious tribute to her life and the joy and friendship she shared with all who knew her. Bea was a very close friend and confidant who shared many great times together and she was one who helped me through painful struggles of and stood beside me during tough times.
I will never forget her wisdom and ability to share it with you. She would not only give you sound advice but converse in a way that allowed you to “get it”. She was a master pack rat who kept everything for one reason or another.
I will always love you, and strive to carry forward the values and character you exhibited.

I met Bea on several occasions many years ago, but her sweet, warm and kind image is always on my mind. We really regret that we did not spend time getting together with Bea and Jimmy, but who would have thought that life would be so short for such a sweet and kind person.

Bea was the sister that I never had and always wanted. She took care of me when I was a little girl and continued to take care of me even after I got married. Her heart to love no matter who you were made me love her even more. She was a role model for me and always will be. I love you, Bea.

Jim,
While we only knew Bea for a short time, there was a friendship developing. I know this because of one of the trinkets she brought us from her home country. It is a ceramic green dish in the shape of a leaf, a lotus leaf maybe? Bea and I love those whimsical kinds of things and looked forward to riding Amtrak to Old Sacramento to hunt for more. The leaf found a place next to our kitchen sink and holds our scrub pad. Imagine that – someone thinking of you while quietly washing the dishes!
Thank you, Jim, for taking such great care of our new friend.
Most sincerely,
Sofie Villanueva

Never forgotton will be Bea's smile and loving nature. She was always very passionate about the things she loved to do. It was always a delight to see her and Jimmy walk into our restaurant for dinner and a friendly chat. I'm glad our family got to know and get close with those two. She will reamain forever in my heart.

Bea and Jim took care of our group of college friends as if they were our second parents. If she didn't have words of advice, she had words of encouragement. If she didn't have words of encouragment she had words of comfort. She helped us grow into the men and women we are today. Thank you for the time you spent with all of us.

I am very happy to know you for so many years. It is a friendship that will shine so brightly throughout my life.
I will miss our quiet conversations but I am sure we can still hear

gathering of friends.
You live in my heart and mind and will continue to flourish as I share
my friendship with others.

Bea,
You and Jimmy were such a great couple. I only met you and Jimmy about 10 years ago at my grandson's(Michael and Trish Csakan) wedding in Boston, MA. But what a great meeting of a great person. Our time was only a weekend but I enjoyed your fun-loving and caring personality. We did meet another time at USC which was also a rewarding time together. You may have your wings now and will look over all of us but we will meet again. In the mean time look over Jimmy and guide him along his way. He and all of us will miss you a lot. Until later, have a wonderful journey.

I knew Jimmy and Bea when they first started dating. I remember the good natured way he talked about "the Woman" and how he stuck with it to win her. I still see her as she was then, smiles, spirit and the hair - a little doll. They were truely blessed to have each other and blessed us with their demonstration of love and faith. Thank you Bea and Jimmy for what you have given us.

Beatriz, we miss you, and will continue to do so. It's so ironic that someone who loved and enjoyed life and the people who knew her so much should have to say, "Good bye."
We are deeply saddened for ouselves (everyone of us who knew you), because we have lost a truly terrific person. We are proud and fortunate to have known you. We will always remember your smile and ever-pleasant demeanor. Thank you for showing us what courage, friendship, and love are truly about.

Beatriz was a great person, she was not only my sister in-law but she was one of my best friends. She left me with a lot of great things to remember her by. I remember when she took me out for my birthday. We went to watch a movie and eat lunch. We had so much fun that day. I could still hear her laugh. We always talked on the phone. Mostly, we would talk about the episodes of Days of our lives. When she couldn’t watch because she was to sick, I would call to catch her up on what was going on. Sometimes her and Jim would call to see if they could pick the kids up. She would tell us “you kids have fun, you need it”. I remember when Noah got baptized we were in a Spanish mass so Beatriz will translate for us, and she’s Noah’s godmother. Alyiah always wants to be with her auntie Beatriz. Jim and Beatriz will always be Alyiah and Noah’s second parents .I remember when the holiday’s where coming up we will talk about things that she wanted to do like making gingerbread house and chocolate cover strawberry for the kids they had so much fun ,doing that with there auntie Bea. Alyiah and Noah loves to go too there house to go in the hot tub with there auntie Bea and uncle Jim. She will always be apart of us and she will be missed. We Love her!!Love, your sister-in-Low Loge,Brother-in Low Alex,Niece Alyiah, and nephew Noah

In our last visit together, Bea shared her heart-wisdom with me about what's really important in life--our health and our loving relationships. "What does money matter without these things?" she exclaimed to me.
I listened very closely to her as she expressed her feelings, her fears, her love and concerns. She was speaking from a depth of being that I recognized as her sheer essence.
I once again thanked her for being my life-model, for showing me what commitment to life and to one's spouse and family was all about. I thanked her for loving me and especially for letting me love her!
We best honor Bea by taking within our own being the wisdom she shared from her challenging life lessons. I am.
